Being Creative is a daily routine
The most creative people create every day. Being creative
does not just mean that when you come up with a new idea you make something
happen, being creative means that every day is a new creation and most of these
creations will never be seen or heard about by anyone but you.
When people hear of creativity, they think of something big
and something that is life changing or some great money making venture, but
being creative can be something that is small and may only serve as a template for
something great in the future, but if you create everyday it will become a
habit that may bring about something great in the future or just bring you some peace of mond.
Think about how often you go about the day thinking that
there must be a better way of doing something and how often you say to yourself
that someone must have found a better way, but ask yourself, “why not me”? If
you ask yourself this question each time you want to find a better way then you
will start to be creative if only in your own head and sometimes you will even
start to put things down on paper.
Being creative is not only for the big things, but most of
the time, creativity is so the simple things in life can become much easier to
accomplish and you will never share it with anyone else. But once your mind
starts to think about creating then you will be amazed how creativity will
become a habit.
In my business of Property Management in Anaheim Ca. I am
always thinking of a better way of doing things and most of the things I think
about will never be put into action, but in my mind I try and work out the
details and if I think it will help me or a Tenant, or a Client then I may give
the new idea a try, but again most of the ideas will stay as ideas and never be
put into action.
Being creative everyday will keep your mind sharp and force you to think about change and that no matter how small is a great thing.
