Don’t leave the future to chance
So many people dream about the future, but they do nothing
to make those dreams come true. I read a quote the other day and it said “The
future is not ours to see, but it’s ours to create”. That quote says it all and
if you think about it, it makes all the sense in the world.
When we dream about the future, most of us never do anything
about making those dreams come true and the big reason is that we are afraid to
fail and also we are too lazy to change our lives. Changing what we are doing
now and making a choice to do something different is a scary proposition and
for most people the fear of change is too much to overcome.
Sometimes it seems when we look back on our lives, we
waited too long to make a change or to try something different, but for most
things, It’s never too late to try. Yes, if we want to be a professional athlete
and we are in out 50’s, we probably are out of time, or if we want to go to
medical school, 50 is probably a tough age to start, but for most things there
is no age limit, the only limit is what we put on ourselves.
In my business of Property Management in Anaheim Ca. I
understand the difficulties of change, going from being a Realtor to becoming a
Broker and opening my own Management Company was a big step and I have to make
it work every day. People think that it’s easy to sell Real Estate or to get
clients to let you manage their properties, but the reality is that it is
always difficult to get people to let you handle their business and you have to
be persistent in getting people to trust you, or you will fail and while failure is not the
end, it can be a huge setback in your dreams.
In the Property
Management business, I work in several different cities in Orange County, from
Anaheim, to Tustin, to Fullerton and Orange and all Orange County cities and if
you look up Property Management companies there are so many that the
competition is great and the work to get more clients never ends. I do
everything I can to keep the clients I have because getting a new client is not
only costly, it is time consuming. I am always perplexed at the management
companies that treat their clients with no respect and In Orange County California;
there are so many choices for property owners that it is to my benefit that
other companies have no respect for their business.
Whatever your dream is, start small and then work your way
to be able to grow and if you are enjoying what you do and you can make money
doing it, then you are ahead of the game, so never give up on your dream, just
make time for yourself to make it happen,
