Traveling is the best Education
How often do you turn on the news and
watch a story about a place you have been and have some knowledge of? When this
happens, you really feel as though you can relate to the story and also you can
see whether the story is accurate or not. Travel is the best education you can
get. Understanding the way people live in areas away from your comfort zone can
really make a difference in the way you see the world.
When you travel to other countries,
you will see firsthand how we differ in the United States from other Countries.
For Example, when I went to Italy, the first thing I noticed was the small
rooms that I was staying in. The bathroom was so small in my first hotel that I
could barley fit in the shower. We have different priorities in the U.S. then
they do in other countries. When I go to Las Vegas, the rooms are huge and I
was not prepared for the small rooms in Italy.
I have not traveled very much but in
my few experiences I learned quite a bit about people in the areas that I have
traveled to.
Sometimes we think of travel as
outside our country, but traveling inside the boarders of our own country can
be a great learning experience. In my business of Property Management in Orange
County Ca. I meet many people from different parts of our Country, and it is
interesting to find out about where they come from and the experiences that
they bring with them. The one thing I find fascinating is how different their
priorities are in the homes they decide to rent or even buy. In some areas
around the Country they put a priority on land and not as much on the size of
the home. Coming to Southern California can be a real shock to those land
loving people.
In my business of Property Management
in Anaheim Ca. I do my best to explain to renter from other parts of the
country what we offer in our neck of the woods and how they can find what they
are looking for. Price is always the most important factor and the great thing
that Southern California offers is the many options that our Part of the State
provides. There are places in our state that you can get more land and still
stay in your budget, but it may not be in the area you desire to live.
The most important thing to remember
is when you get the opportunity to see and experience new things then you will
be much better for it.
