When we think about traveling we so often forget to see our
great Country. We have 50 States and each one has it’s own unique personality.
I know it is a great education to be a world traveler but
there are few countries in the world that have the history, short as it may be
compared to most, that our great country has.
Being that I live in Southern
California, we of course get our fair share of vacationers due to our great
weather and of course I live in Anaheim the home of Disneyland. In my neck of
the woods of course there are the great Beaches and the scenery that goes along
with is, and then there is Hollywood and the tour of the movie industry which in
the past few years have lost some of it’s luster.
I still tell people that in
the winter time, there are days that I could go to the Beach in the morning and
be at the ski slopes in two hours.
Southern California is such a unique place to live and a
great place for people to vacation and I know that so many people make a big
deal about the food on the East coast and Mid West, but we have so many
transplants from those area’s that we have the best of both worlds, we get the East coast and Mid West food with a California twist.
In my business of Property Management in Anaheim Ca. I
travel from place to place in So Cal and get to try all kinds of food up and
down the coast and beyond and the variety of food that you can eat is amazing.
If you travel on PCH ( Pacific Coast Hwy)
you can have Sea food to great burgers to 5 star restaurants all with
the great view and smells of the beautiful Pacific Ocean and the great part is
the we can do all this year round.
I know that I am being a homer for my great state especially
for my area of Southern California, but my point is that before you think about
booking a trip around the world, see what this country has to offer first.
