Why is Real Estate never mentioned?
Unfortunately the race for the White house for 2016 in
already underway and we will be bombarded with the endless news of what all
these candidate will be saying. But rarely do they say anything worth hearing or
that has an effect on real people. They mostly talk about how much money they
are going to give away, but of course it is not their money it is ours.
I always listen to see whether they will mention Real Estate
in their talking points and they never do.
Everyone knows that Real Estate is
such an important part of our economy and politicians love to tell us how they
are going fix the economy, but I really don’t think many of them have a clue.
Mitt Romney probably did know but since that ship has sailed, is there one who
is running or will run now who even understands or cares what everyday
Americans do to make it buy.
Small businesses are the heart and soul of America and they
most politicians have never owned a small businesses’, they have no Idea what
it takes to be survive. They talk a good game when it comes to going from town to
town and visiting a small business for a photo op, but when they leave that
business they never give it a second thought.
The same when it comes to Real Estate, in my business of
Property Management in Anaheim Ca. I understand the concerns people have when
it comes to buying a new home and I also understand how difficult it has
become. Some of the reasons that it has become more difficult are justified,
but others are not and those issues should be front and center in a
presidential race, but we will hear the same garbage talked about over and over
and none of it will have any effect on 90% of us.
Most of the time I will not pay much attention to what any
of these people say, but if I hear any of them talk about real issues, my ears
will perk up.
