Fruit trees, great for sale or rentals
I love lemons, and I know that many other people do also.
When I rent or sell a property, Fruit trees are an asset. I have yet to have
someone say that they do not want the house because there are fruit trees on the
property, in fact, fruit trees may be the one reason people want to buy or rent
the property.
Why is it that people want fruit trees? I can only give my
opinion, but we like to see things grow and we love to have free fruit and also
be able to give our family and friends free fruit. I have told the story
before, but I sold a home in Huntington Beach because of an avocado tree in the
back yard. The house itself was nothing special, but the tree was huge and
produced many avocados. The buyers at the time could not get enough of the tree
and finally bought the home. That tree made me a very nice commission.
When renting a home, fruit trees also can make a difference.
Parents like to have fruit trees, because it lets their children see firsthand
how things grow and how you can go into the backyard and pick some fruit and eat
it right off the tree. This can be a great teaching experience for children,
but also I am surprised at adults who get excited about picking their own
fruit.
I personally love lemons, because I use it in my Ice Tea and
picking fruit off the tree is fun for me to do also and I am far from being a
kid.
My suggestion to anyone who has property and some room they
want to fill in the yard, plant some fruit trees. I like the lemon and Orange
and avocado trees. They will give you some good fruit to eat and also if you
ever want to sell or rent, the trees will give you a good talking point.
