Don’t buy that Halloween candy too soon!
With Halloween right around the corner, I am starting to see
the candy in the stores. My first reaction is to buy the candy and have it
ready for the big night, but then I realize that if I buy it too soon, it will
end up in my belly long before Halloween approaches.
How I know this? It has
happened in the past.
The stores have a great incentive to get that candy out as
soon as possible, because they understand people like me will attack that bag
of candy and once the bag is broken into, none of those candies are safe.
My preference for the Halloween candy is the bag that has
Kit Kat’s, Almond Joy, Reese’s, Hershey’s and the M&M’S. On the night of
Halloween, I try to give out at least as much as I eat. I also like to BBQ
some Hot Dogs as I give out the candies’.
Just remember, do not fall for the stores making you think
that the candy is in limited supplies. You can go on line and buy your candy
and that way you can have it delivered close to Halloween night. If you do
this, you will save money by not having to buy candy multiple times and you
will also save your waistline.
